It’s been forever since I have posted anything let alone pictures so this post is mostly going to have pictures to fill your little souls with Lanie goodness. These are some videos that we have taken. The first was taken in February and the second video was taken in January. I love these both because it shows both sides of her personality. One side is just so chill and the other likes to play and discover ie: her voice.
Is this baby cute or what? I love her smiles. She is so quick to smile.
I love this baby’s outfits. They are all so cute. I loved these leggings. I converted them from girl’s knee-high socks. They look long and skinny on her in this picture, but her legs have chunked out. It is so funny to see her in this sweater now too. She loves to try to suck on the buttons, but can’t always get her mouth down to them. It’s so funny to watch.
Well, before Easter James and I decorated Bunny cupcakes. It was a fun date night. Here James is giving a tutorial of how to decorate them.
1-Frost a cupcake with delicious frosting. Then dip the top in coconut.
2- Snip a large marshmallow in half around the middle. Be sure to concentrate as you do this.
3- Lick the marshmallow so it is nice and sticky.
4-Dip the licked mallow in pink sprinkles. ….. Ok, just kidding about the licking part. When you snip the malllows in half they are already sticky for the sprinkles.
5- Form them so they look like bunny ears.
6-Apply bunny ears, eyes (blue m&m’s), pink nose (jelly bean) and little white whisker cheeks (I don’t know what you would call them, but little marshmallows) with frosting.
7- Now frost on pupils and whiskers with special cake decorating frosting (black and pink respectively). James had fun pointing the eyes in different directions and in different sizes. In some cases it made for interesting bunnies rather than cute.
Just a few more pictures but isn’t this girl so cute!? Though my brother Niel teases me she looks like a boy. Hmph. :)
A family picture for Jon’s b-day.
My very feminine baby in her Easter dress from Aunt Brooke. I love the ruffles!
